Our multi-family experts have appraised over 150 multi-family properties since 2011. The subjects of past assignments have included a variety of conventional apartment properties, as well as affordable and subsidized housing properties. In addition, we have experience in the valuation of student housing, residential condominium projects, and bulk condominium units located in fractured condominium conversion projects. Due to the volume of multi-family appraisals we have completed, we have assembled a vast database of comparable data including rents, sales and expenses and other valuable insights.


The multi-family division keeps track of ongoing trends in the multi-family market through its own research, and with support from subscriptions to published national market surveys and sales data resources. We also maintain relationships with sales professionals at local and national real estate brokerage companies specializing in the marketing and sale of multi-family properties. In addition to the direct interaction we have with the participants involved with our assignments, we believe consensus built through the exchange of ideas with and observations made by other market participants provides out clients with another layer of confidence for the accurancy of the products we offer.
